The thing that always frustrated me: a customer would call me out for a $150 service call, and the fix would be a $12 part that took 15 minutes to swap. I'd show them the part and they'd say "I could have done that myself." And they were right — most of them could have.

That's why I built TheFixGuide. Every repair guide on this site lists the exact part you need, links to where you can buy it, and walks you through the fix step by step. No jargon, no guesswork. Just the information you need to decide: fix it yourself, or call someone.
